About the Author

The author has sailed across more than 285,000 nautical miles over the past eight years — from glaciers to jungles, deserts to deep sea. While working aboard cruise ships, he explored dozens of countries, cultures, and coastlines, carrying a deep love for storytelling and education along the way. These experiences became the spark behind Sammy — a sailor with a backpack full of maps and a heart full of questions.
