Every great ship needs a great crew — and Sammy’s is full of character, curiosity, and just a little bit of cheerful chaos. Get to know the heart and feathers behind each journey.

Sammy the Sailor™

Sammy is the captain of the ship and the heart of every voyage. With a sailor hat that always sits a little crooked and a backpack full of maps, he’s driven by curiosity and a love for discovery. Raised near the sea, he’s dreamed of sailing the world since he could walk. Sammy loves sharing what he learns — especially if there’s mango juice involved.

Fun Fact: Sammy keeps a tiny compass in his boot “just in case.” He’s also convinced that every good decision begins with a snack.

Role: Captain, storyteller, explorer, and proud chart-maker of Team Sammy.

Pedro the Parrot

Pedro is the ship’s watchbird and comic relief. He’s loyal, loud, and just a touch dramatic. Found by Sammy on an island dock singing to his own reflection, Pedro earned his spot aboard after squawking, “Permission to board, Captain!”

Fun Fact: Pedro knows over 100 sea shanties — and insists on singing them all before breakfast.

Role: Navigator’s assistant, cloud-watcher, and honorary “Joke First Mate.”
